Assembly Tip
Prepare tribeam on the ground
Prepare your triangle construction on the ground. Screw the Diamond Bracket completely to the top of the triangle – you can’t change anything here anyway. The Static Support, on the other hand, is first fastened to the upper support beam with two ø 6 mm wood screws – this way you can align your triangle perfectly later before you also completely screw the Static Support.
Connecting the Support
Pre-drill
The ø 6 mm (0,24 in) wood screws are simply drilled into the wood without pre-drilling. The hexagonal screws ø 10 mm (0,39 in) must be pre-drilled 70 mm (2,7 in) deep with a wood drill ø 6 mm. To ensure that the bracket fits well, the edges of the wood may have to be rounded off slightly.
High loads
Carriage bolts
This set is designed for normal loads. For high loads, strong rotations, lever forces or jerky impacts, we recommend replacing the hexagonal bolts with even thicker ø 12 mm (0,47 in) carriage bolts that go through the entire wooden beam and can be tightened well with washer and nut.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do if the Support-Timber connection is overloaded?
With wide cantilevered platforms, strong bending, lever and shear forces can occur. With constant alternating loads and fluctuations due to wind, swings or suspension bridges, this can lead to loosening of the wood screws in the long term.
Solution?
- Fix your support beam with 4 thicker wood screws ø 8 mm and 2 carriage bolts ø 12 mm.
- If the load is very high, double your support beam in the area of the Tree Screws and mount a second Support directly next to the first.
- Stabilise your tribeam with additional braces.
Why can't you buy carriage bolts here?
We deliberately do not have carriage bolts in our range, as we do not know how high your support beams are. The length of the carriage bolt should be 3 – 4 cm (1,2 – 1,6 in) longer than the height of the support beam. Be sure to allow for a 5 mm thickness of the supporting beam and the two washers (approx. 3 mm). A ø 12 mm threaded rod will also work, of course.
You can get all this at a DIY store or hardware store.
How do I connect the platform beams to the support beam?
If the platform beam rests firmly on the support beam and is pressed downwards, two diagonally offset wood screws ø 6 mm (partial thread, galvanised) are sufficient for fastening.
For higher loads, torsional loads or leverage effects, use 3 – 4 screws. Secure important connections additionally with angle plates.
The screws must protrude at least as far into the support beam as the platform beam is thick.
