Dive into a world of magical treehouses
USA, Europe, Africa – in this book you will travel to all continents where Pete and his team have built treehouses. From the small, charming summer treehouse in the style of an Adirondack camp to the breathtaking luxury treehouse in the design of a Greek temple. The book is perfect for informing, but just as good for sitting back, relaxing, marvelling and inspiring – it doesn't get more treehouse-feeling than this, THANK YOU, PETE!
Quote Pete Nelson: “I am overwhelmed by the variety and splendour of today's treehouses. The creativity and craftsmanship that people display when building in trees fills me with joy. Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the depth and breadth of this worldwide movement. It is truly glorious.”
The Author
Pete Nelson
Pete is probably the most famous treehouse builder of our time. He is best-known for his spectacular series “Treehouse Masters” on Animal Planet, which attracts millions of viewers worldwide. We had the chance to meet him in person on our road trip to the “World Treehouse Conference” in Oregon, USA, and I can tell you: the guy is also a warmly nice friend and hilarious entertainer outside of TV!

The book is full of beautiful treehouses around the globe and features unpublished projects by Pete and other treehouse professionals. Beautiful exterior shots alternate with cosy interiors and are complemented with Pete’s sketches, plans and instructive diagrams.
Quote Washington Post, Book World
“With its stunning photos of fanciful houses, Nelson’s book will appeal to anyone who ever read Peter Pan or The Swiss Family Robinson. . . . To browse through Nelson’s book is to fantasize about life in midair.”
John A., Amazon
“The book provides examples of treehouses that Pete has built, as well as those built by others. Through the given examples, Pete is able to illustrate pros and cons of methods of construction that he and others have developed over the years. Most importantly, Pete tells us where he’s failed, offering his solutions or lessons learned from those mistakes. If you are like me and love your trees and loved your childhood treehouse (or fort or clubhouse, etc…) then do yourself a favour and pick up this book.”
