Beautifully suspended – the classic solution for multiple trees
Want to build your own treehouse and have several strong trees in your garden? Perfect! This kit provides you with a safe, tree-friendly and proven solution. The beams are firmly anchored to the thickest tree, while the other trees remain flexible thanks to dynamic brackets – allowing each tree to move freely with the wind without tearing at the construction.
How it works – professional tips for installation

Measuring trees
✔ Make sure that the trunk is thick enough for the GTS Screws in the area of the platform.
✔ We recommend a maximum distance of 8m (26.5 ft) between the trees – otherwise the support beams will be very large and too heavy.

Maximise Load Capacity
Each GTS can be additionally reinforced with the GTS+ system:
✔ For high loads on individual screws.
✔ For soft tree wood
✔ Allows greater distance between the support structure and the tree – free growth in thickness!

How thick do my wooden beams need to be?
That depends on the span, the load and the area of application. You can find all the details in our Step 11: Timber guide.
How do I mount the screws at the same height?
A simple tube level is the cheapest (10 - 15 €) and most effective solution:
- Mark the centre of the drill hole for the first GTS Screw.
- Transfer the height to all other trees using a hose level and water level.
- Make sure that the GTS Screws are perfectly aligned, e.g. using a compass.
You can find detailed instructions on our YouTube channel.
How much does a tree move in the wind?
A tree that is 40 cm (15.7 in) thick at a height of 2 m (6.6 ft) will sway approx. 2 cm in all directions during a storm. The higher you go, the stronger the movement.
Important: Leave at least 20–30 cm clearance at the edge of the roof – also to allow for growth in thickness of the tree.
Our tip: Observe your tree during storms – every tree reacts differently!
Is my tree hardwood or softwood?
The higher the wood strength, the greater the load capacity of the tree bolts.
Information on the strength and wound healing of individual tree species can be found in Step 5: The right tree for your treehouse – including a table of the best trees for treehouses and their suitability for tree bolts.
Are treehouse building instructions safe?
The internet is full of treehouse instructions and beautiful DIY videos – but be careful! Often, amateurish or tree-damaging attachment methods are shown, which in the worst case can even be dangerous.
