Tree Support Sling – Details

The slings originally come from tree care, where they are used to secure tree crowns. Depending on the manufacturer, they are also referred to as tree care straps, tree care belts, tree belts, tree slings or sling straps.

Mounting the Tree Support Sling on the Tree
  • The Tree Support Slings should be attached as close to the trunk as possible, either directly to the trunk or to a thick branch fork.
  • Avoid long lever arms and strong vibrations or pendulum movements during storms.
  • The sling can be secured to the trunk with a wood screw (ø 8 mm stainless steel) to prevent it from slipping down.
  • Our tree slings have a service life of at least 8 years. The components of the rope suspension should be visually inspected every few years and can be easily replaced if necessary.

For extreme static and dynamic loads

The TreeSave tree support sling from our friends at Drayer has already been awarded the Innovation Prize at Interforst 2006 and the GaLaBau 2004 and meets the technical requirements of ZTV tree care. The holding system was developed in close cooperation with tree care specialists and is ideal for the high demands of treehouse construction!

Tree Protection Sling - Safe & Tree-friendly Attachment for Rope and Steel Cables on Tree

Tree-friendly pressure distribution

The sling with its wide protective hose distributes the load over a large area, thus protecting the important cambium layer and preventing constrictions.

Universally applicable!

Tree Support Slings are also suitable for attaching swings, tree tents, slacklines, hammocks and similar items to trees. The webbing should be moved slightly every few years to prevent the branch from being cut into.

Attachment to coniferous trees

Tree Support Slings are more suitable for deciduous trees with strong branches and forks. Conifers, on the other hand, often have no natural anchor points, which is why rope suspension is better hung on tree bolts.
