Build a treehouse with XL Tribeam – safe, versatile & tried and tested!
This kit is the perfect solution for a stable, symmetrical treehouse support structure. Whether as a compact 2D Tribeam or a huge 3D Tribeam for wide cantilevered platforms – with this set, your treehouse will be safe!
With two large GTS Allstar screws, the set is also suitable for trees that move and for greater leverage. The long shank gives you freedom of design and leaves your tree plenty of room to grow.
How it works – triangle mounting
Tree thickness and growth
✔ Make sure that the trunk is at least 35 cm thick in the area of the upper GTS Allstar.
✔ The GTS Screws are mounted one above the other – the vertical distance should be at least 1.5 m.
✔ For low loads and hard wood, you can mount Beam Brackets and Support Beams 10–15 cm apart – this gives the tree more room to grow.
Stilt tree treehouse
Triangular support structures create wide and stable support surfaces for floor joists – ideal for connecting trees and stilts.
When the tree moves in the wind, the elements reliably compensate for movements of up to approx. 5 cm. The platform remains stable and flexible at the same time.
Attaching the triangle
- Prepare the triangle and bracket on the ground.
- Screw the upper GTS Screw into the tree.
- Slide on the triangle and align it precisely.
- Mark the lower drill hole and screw in the second GTS Screw.
- Secure the triangle with the Position-Rings.

Crooked tree? Build yourself a test triangle!
Slight inclines of less than 6° are usually not a problem – it is important to keep the lever forces low and align the main load so that the tree cannot tip over.
DIY tip: For crooked trees, build a test triangle out of wooden slats in advance and hold it in the tree – this will allow you to see immediately whether the triangle will fit your tree bolts later on.
Is my tree hardwood or softwood?
The higher the wood strength, the greater the load capacity of the tree bolts.

How thick do my wooden beams need to be?
That depends on the span, the load and the area of application. You can find all the details in our Step 11: Timber guide.

Are treehouse building instructions safe?
